FAQ for Basic Archery Course & Membership
  
1. Do we have to be member of the club to register for the course?
No, the basic archery course is open to the public.

2. Do we have to purchase equipment & accessories?
No, all equipments & accessories will be provided.

3. Is there any age limit?
Children have to be above 9 years old. No restriction for adult.

4. Can you give some details of the group basic archery course?
1. Course Fee S$80.00 per person
2. Duration 3 consecutive sessions, 2 hour/session
3. Time Sunday morning, 10:00am to 12pm
4. Venue Punggol South Archery Centre, an open field (junction of Hougang Ave 6 & Ave 8)
5. Schedule Monthly – date to be advice
6. No of participant Max 15 person
5. What is the difference between private & group archery course?
The course fee of the private archery course is S$120/person. The schedule is more flexible & depends on the coach’s schedule. The maximum participant per course is seven students.

6. Beside Sunday, is there any other schedule for the group archery course?
No. We have group basic archery course only on Sunday’s morning.

7. What will we learn from the basic course?
1. Introduction / Basic skill & Safety of Archery / Range Procedure
2. Set up & dismantling of standard recurve bow
3. Basic shooting technique.
8. What is the qualification of the coach?
Our coaches are registered under National Registry of Coaches with Singapore Sports Council.

9. Can we apply for membership of the club & what are the charges?
Membership is by invitation only & subjected to approval. You need to complete the basic archery course before eligible for application of membership.

10. Must the member have their equipments & accessories?
Member has to purchase 3 basic accessories – arm guard, finger tab & quiver. In the first year of membership, they don't need to own bow & arrow; they can borrow from the club the basic bow when it is available. If there are insufficient equipments, they have to share with other members. As they progress & are really interested to continue in this sport, they are encouraged to own a bow in order to see their own progress in the skill. When they renew their membership, they are required to have their own bow & arrow.

11. Must we make booking & pay for usage of the range?
The range is open to senior member with own equipment on Saturday & Sunday morning from 9 to 12 noon. New member & member without equipment can only used the range on Sunday morning. No booking & fee are required. Member pays only the yearly membership & range fee.
